Automated pizza oven chain PizzaForno is proud to announce rapid expansion across the country in partnership with a series of independent and corporate licensees. Designed to be an innovative and delicious foodservice option, PizzaForno has recently secured partnerships with leading corporations including Petro Canada and Parkland Corporation (On The Run). The pizza chain’s first corporate partnership, with Aramark Canada Ltd. (NYSE: ARMK), one of the world’s largest catering and food service providers, launched in March and is poised to deploy 10 machines across the country in 2020 alone. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the first PizzaForno location of this collaboration is located in Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, catering to staff, patients and guests. In an effort to support frontline workers during the pandemic, PizzaForno has provided Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre staff with discount codes that subsidize the cost of each pizza.  The next phase of Aramark-managed locations that are set to receive PizzaForno machines is focused on universities and hospital facilities throughout Ontario and expanding into Nova Scotia.

In addition to PizzaForno’s growing portfolio of corporate licensees, the company’s fastest expansion has been through independent licensees, many of whom own multiple units and want to offer their customers a cutting-edge 24/7 pizza service. With licensees in the Sudbury, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Port Carling and Tobermory regions, PizzaForno is rapidly extending its geographic reach, and is in conversations with additional licensees in multiple provinces, and the United States.

During a time of uncertainty, we are so pleased to bring locally-made, low-touch pizza to Canadians,” said Will Moyer and Les Tomlin, co-founders of PFX. “We are dedicated to continuing to innovate and bringing exceptional value to our licensee partners and pizza lovers across North America.”

PizzaForno serves high-quality, never frozen pizzas 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Accessible at the tap of a digital screen, hungry consumers can pick from a selection of eight different recipe options, and the pizza is delivered from the machine’s refrigerated section to a patented oven, where it is baked to perfection in under three minutes. Each PizzaForno oven holds 70 12-inch pizzas, made with hand-stretched dough and locally sourced ingredients.

As the recent recipient of the Excellence in Innovation Award by Restaurants Canada, PizzaForno locations boast small footprints, low waste and utilize patented robotic food handling technology.
